Transport of the deceased from abroad

The transport (technically called “repatriation”) can be done by land or by air. It depends on the distance and the conditions in the specific country. In some cases, we recommend transporting the urn, in other cases it is possible to transport the coffin with the body of the deceased.

We will take care of all the necessary steps:

• communication with the hospital, police, embassy and foreign funeral service,
• all official documents, translations and permits,
• practical steps of transportation – safe, in accordance with local regulations and the wishes of the family,
• transport of the deceased to the place of your choice – including the possibility of a ceremony in the Czech Republic.

What are the costs?

If the deceased had travel insurance, in most cases the insurance company will cover the transportation. We will help you contact the assistance service and provide the necessary documents.

If insurance was not arranged, we will prepare a budget for you and recommend a solution that will be as economical as possible – both in terms of time and money.
