Vinohrady Cemetery (Prague)
A historical cemetery in the center of Prague, combining a layer of urban and social history. According to the number of buried, it is the second largest cemetery in Prague. You can also find the graves of various famous personalities here. On an area of 10 hectares, there are around 16 thousand graves, more than 900 tombs, over 4000 urn places and 1850 places in the columbarium.

Interesting fact: The cemetery was founded in 1885 and gradually expanded to an area of almost 10 hectares. The dominant feature is the neo-Gothic chapel of St. Wenceslas, which is still used for ceremonies today.
