Strašnice Cemetery (Prague)
A place where silence meets history. A space in a Prague district which tells the story of faith, change and memories. The cemetery was originally established around 1795 and throughout history served mainly German Evangelicals, which is why it is sometimes referred to as the German Evangelical Cemetery. It ceased to be used in 1945, and was reopened after the reconstruction in 2015. Currently, it is intended only for the storage and scattering of ashes, there is a scattering meadow and a burial meadow.

Interesting fact:The cemetery was founded around 1795, originally as an Evangelical burial ground. Since 2002, the Strašnice Cemetery has been included in the list of cultural monuments.
