Notary Proceedings and Urn Collection
You will be invited in writing by the notary to complete the inheritance proceedings. You can find more information in our article about inheritance.
Urn collection
The urn will be available for collection at the facility where the funeral was arranged, 10 business days after the event, ceremony or cremation. You will be invited to pick it up.
The urn can only be picked up by the person who ordered the funeral. If the orderer cannot come in person, he/she will issue a power of attorney to the relevant person to collect the urn (the power of attorney does not have to be notarized).
Required documents:
- ID of the ordering party (or authorized person, incl. power of attorney)
- tax document – funeral order contract
- payment receipt
