Motol Cemetery (Prague)
A large cemetery complex in the greenery on the western outskirts of Prague offers a peaceful environment and the possibility of choosing a different form of farewell. Thanks to the mature trees, Motol stream and pond, the cemetery is a very pleasant and calming place of remembrance. Currently, the cemetery has an area of 12 hectares and for storing the ashes of the deceased, it is possible to use a columbarium, an urn grove, a memorial meadow for pouring ashes vsyp popela or three scattering rozptylu meadows.

Interesting fact: It was built together with the crematorium building in the 1950s, when it was conceived as a forest cemetery. Its area is partly located within the Košíře-Motol Nature Park.
