Krč Cemetery (Prague)
A smaller cemetery with open space, trees and a direct path to the central cross. Its character seems simple but personal. It is suitable for peaceful and quiet farewells. The area of the cemetery is 3.02 hectares and has the shape of a trapezoid. There are 780 tombs, 3950 graves and 2100 urn graves in the area.

Interesting fact: The cemetery has a neo-Gothic hexagonal bell tower, reminiscent of a minaret, from the now-defunct Pankrác convict cemetery. In the middle of the newly repaired central road stands the cemetery chapel with an aedicule edikulou on the roof, and a little lower down you will find a cross erected in 1886.
For example, the famous photographer Petr Škvrně, the resistance fighter and legionnaire Otto Linhart, and the successful weapons designer and inventor Sylvestr Krnka are buried here.
