Kind-to-Death Festival: June 2026
PEGAS was a part of a festival that sensitively connects culture, humanity and topics that are often only spoken about quietly. In the environment of the Church of St. Martin in Jindřichovice and the Cheb Paper Mill, a place was created for stories, memories and ordinary presence.
The Kind-to-Death Festival is celebrating its fifth year this year. Two days in June dedicated to music, meetings and open conversation about life and its last moments offered a space for stopping, sharing and gratitude.
The festival reminds us that farewell does not have to be just sadness. It can also be gratitude. A moment when we are together. In silence, but truly.
The Kind-to-Death Festival took place on June 12 and 13, 2026 and offered concerts, theatre, debates with experts and an accompanying program for children and adults. It also included projects dedicated to dignified farewells, palliative care and new forms of ceremonies.
