Farewell to Ms Věra Gondolánová
It is with great regret that we announce that Mrs. Věra Gondolánová has left us forever. “She left after a long illness, as I knew her… beautiful, proud, brave and for me the most talented of the whole family,” wrote her nephew Filip Gondolán.
The last farewell to the beloved singer took place on Friday, February 5, 2021, at the Church of St. Gothard in Prague Bubeneč. Due to government regulations in connection with the covid-19 pandemic, only a limited number of the bereaved were able to attend the ceremony.
PEGAS employees provided floral arrangements, the assembly of a canvas-covered catafalque, and the arrangement of the Klerus Ariana mahogany coffin, which was decorated with a large Parterre bouquet made of white roses and lilies.
After a private farewell, the coffin was carried along a path decorated with flower petals to a nearby cemetery and, after a blessing by the priest and accompanied by live music, was placed in the family tomb.
